CSA Flower Share 2010

Pistil Farm flowers bring Tivoli color right to Brooklyn! From July-September, flower shares can be picked up right along with CSA shares in Greenwood Heights, Bay Ridge and East Williamsburg.  This year’s bouquets will feature new varieties, including dahlias, lisianthus, delphiniums and a drying bouquet. Favorites from last year will also be back, including snapdragons, zinnias, cosmos, black-eyed susans, love-in-a-mist, cosmos, bachelor buttons, strawflowers, sunflowers, scabiosa, verbena, and herbs. All flowers grown without the use of chemical pesticides or fertilizers. With proper care, most bouquets should last 4-7 days (depending on variety). Flower shares are $10/week for 10 weeks, for a full share price of $100 (tax included). A slideshow featuring some bouquets from last year is in this blog post.

All flowers will be cut by hand and grown without the use of chemical
pesticides or fertilizers. With proper care, most bouquets should last
